Emily Fanjoy is the owner and manager of Peace Crops. She graduated from Knox College<\/a> in 2006 with a degree in Spanish Literature, and went on to serve in the US Peace Corps<\/a> as a Rural Health Technician in Guatemala from 2008 to 2010. She currently serves on the board of directors for Food Roots<\/a>, a nonprofit dedicated to cultivating a healthy food system for the North coast of Oregon.<\/p>\n

Jim Fanjoy, Emily’s husband, works on the farm as well. A practicing architect<\/a>, he is licensed in several states and graduated from Ball State University<\/a> in 1996. He served in the US Peace Corps alongside Emily, teaching indigenous Mayans how to build sanitary infrastructure, water containment and distribution systems, and a teachers’ college. \u00a0Jim is an active beekeeper with the Tillamook County Beekeepers, and serves on the board of directors of the Tillamook Farmers’ Market<\/a>\u00a0and the Manzanita Farmers’ Market<\/a>.<\/p>\n
